Phish in the North Country Exhibit Opens at Flynn Center

October 6, 2017

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the WaterWheel Foundation, a special visual exhibition will debut tomorrow at the Amy E. Tarrant Gallery in Burlington, VT’s Flynn Center. Phish in the North Country “looks at the Vermont band’s 30-plus year history, starting in bars and nightclubs within blocks of the exhibit and growing through Nectar’s, Hunt’s, the Front, the Flynn, Boston, Albany, Saratoga Springs, and throughout the world. This exhibit focuses on “local” shows—those within striking distance for Vermonters—spanning the band’s career.”

The Amy E. Tarrant Gallery is open to the public Saturdays from 11 AM to 4 PM. In adition, people attending performances at the Flynn will have access to the exhibit prior to most MainStage shows and during intermission.

On Saturday, November 4 from 1-3 PM, a gallery talk with Phish Archivist Kevin Shapiro will take place at the Tarrant. Ben & Jerry’s will be offering free scoops of Phish Food ice cream from noon to 3 PM and a limited edition Jim Pollock poster to benefit WaterWheel will be available for purchase.
