What a year its been for My Morning Jacket. They’ve released one of the best albums of the year and destroyed crowds around the world in the process. This, however, might be their finest hour as the band appeared on Jeopardy today as a part of what appears to be a mashup theme. The answer was “My Morning Peppers,” to which contestant Katie correctly answered, “Who is My Morning Jacket and Red Hot Chili Peppers?”

Let’s not act like their appearance is a one-off, as the real MVP of this entire thing is the big music fan in the Jeopardy writers room. That hero has successfully put Widespread Panic, Ryan Adams AND Bryan Adams and Umphrey’s McGee on the show at various points this year. You, sir or madam, are the MVP of 2015.
