moe. played a two-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, this weekend, marking the band’s return to the stage following bassist Rob Derhak’s cancer diagnosis, treatment and subsequent recovery. The two shows featured four new original songs debuted, two per evening. Paul Citone shared some photos from night one, which featured some opening words from Derhak and the presentation of a celebratory medal to Derhak from Cap owner Peter Shapiro (who was sporting a “Welcome back, Rob” t-shirt).
