James Brown Horn Players Reunite as Pee Wee Celebrates 70 With Fred and Maceo

Last night at NYC’s Town Hall, Alfred “Pee Wee” Ellis celebrated his 70th birthday with dear friends and former bandmates Fred Wesley and Maceo Parker. The trio, who toured with James Brown for many years were joined Town Hall by an all-star band consisting of Larry Goldings, Christian McBride, Bill Stewart and Rodney Jones.
