This Independence Day we’re celebrating the heroes of the Port Chester Fire Department.
Proudly serving the people of Port Chester and, in turn, The Capitol Theatre, the Port Chester Fire Department is perhaps the most Dead-icated group of firefighters in the United States.
Below, watch members of the P.C.F.D. share tales from the long strange trip that is Dead fandom—including inducting Phil Lesh as an honorary member. From their Dead-decked out truck, to the Stealies on their shirts, these guys are always willing to be Port Chester’s Help On The Way.
