No one will ever be sure how this gentlemen got a beer bong into the Vic Theatre during the 2007 Umphrey’s run, but nonetheless this hero succeeded and managed to position himself perfectly in the upper deck. In a fairly wild show that saw Aron Magner and Michael Kang both make appearances at various points, the highlight has to be Brendan Bayliss housing two seating deck’s worth of beer and then returning to rock like a true champion. As the UM frontman celebrates his birthday today, let’s revisit that moment of glory. 

Tonight, Bayliss will celebrate his birthday surely surrounded by family and friends in Chicago as he and the rest of Umphrey’s throw out the first pitch, sing the National Anthem and lead Wrigley Field in the seventh inning stretch tonight. We can only hope there is a two-story beer bong involved as well.
