Gov’t Mule, The Avett Brothers and The Magpie Salute at Jones Beach (A Gallery)

Gov’t Mule opened their run of dates with The Avett Brothers and The Magpie Salute at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY, on Thursday night. Mule offered a “Dark Side of the Mule” set that featured a number of Pink Floyd covers, plus sit ins from the Avetts, Magpie Salute members Rich Robinson, Marc Ford and John Hogg, and longtime collaborator Ron Holloway.
