Foo Fighters have been on tour with the same setup for the better part of a year and they haven’t had a fuck up quite like this one. As their show in Amsterdam was about to kick off with an opening number of “Everlong,” the curtain in front of the band malfunctioned, leading to a very sad and not rock-and-roll start to the show, as a very lonely shred of Foo-branded curtain hung in front of the group. 

“This is the first time we’ve ever had that happen,” Grohl said to the confused crowd. “Sometimes it’s the fucked up things that make you remember the show for the rest of your life,” he added from his rock and roll throne. “You want to start again?” he asked before restarting the song and continuing on with the show.
