Esperanza Spalding Releases “We Are America” Video

Grammy Award-winning musician Esperanza Spalding released this music video today titled “We Are America.” While the title tells you most of what you need to know, the video is designed to highlight the injustice of prolonged indefinite detention of detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Spalding, renowned jazz bassist, also organized cameos from Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, Harry Belafonte and Savion Glover. Watch the full video below.
