Eddie Vedder Mocked Trump’s Visit to Puerto Rico By Tossing Paper Towels Off a Roof

October 12, 2017

While Eddie Vedder hasn’t directly addressed the daily buffoonery oozing from the White House (yet), he did throw a quick shot across the bow while hanging out at a wet Wrigley Field.

Surely you’ve seen the clip of President Trump firing paper towels into a crowd of hurricane survivors in Puerto Rico like he’s operating the t-shirt cannon at a baseball game. The ridiculous display was just one of many lowlights from the President’s visit to the ravaged island and spawned a worthy impression from Vedder, who sat atop a Wrigleyville rooftop and fired rolls of paper towels onto the fans below.

This is just another chapter in Vedder’s rooftop adventures, as he also launched some signed baseballs off the roof as fans hung around following the postponement of Tuesday’s game due to weather. The game would be played last night, with the Cubs losing to the Washington Nationals.

even cubs fans need paper towels. @eddie_vedder
