If you’re like me and you normally change the channel to anything else when Colin Jost and Michael Che present their painfully awkward and disjointed ‘Weekend Update’ segment on this current version of Saturday Night Live, then you might be surprised to know the duo actually produced some legitimate laughs during their live hit at the Democratic National Convention last night on MSNBC. 

Che and Jost joked about all the happenings at the DNC thus far, including the intense support for Bernie Sanders, prompting a funny reference from Che.  “Look at all these white girls crying,” he quipped as a montage of tears from heartbroken Bernie supporters flashed across the screen. “They look like Dave Matthews just played ‘Crash Into Me.'”
