Chris Cornell Covers Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” with Daughter Toni

Chris Cornell has already stunned with his cover of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and has now topped that with this moment he shared with his daughter Toni at the Beacon Theatre over the weekend. Cornell brought out his daughter on stage for a sweet cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song,” giving Eddie Vedder and Beyonce’s version a serious run for its money.
“I’m from Seattle, but she’s a New York City girl,” Cornell said of his daughter, drawing a cheer from the hometown crowd. Turns out, Toni clearly got her singing voice from her Dad as she belted out the Marley tune to a standing ovation.
