Bill Evans, John Popper, Marco Benevento and More at Blue Note (A Gallery)

Saxophonist Bill Evans closed out his three night run at New York’s Blue Note jazz club with special guests throughout the show. Along with his Soulgrass project, Evans welcomed guests Marco Benevento and John Popper for the finale. Popper also sat-in for the second night of the run along with John Medeski.
The surprise of the night came when Gov’t Mule keyboardist Danny Louis joined the group for a few songs. Louis was a previously unannounced guest. Past Soulgrass lineups have included the likes of Jake Cinninger, John Medeski, John Popper, Bela Fleck, Bruce Hornsby and more. Dino Perrucci shared some images from the show.
