On Tuesday night, New Orleans staples Big Sam’s Funky Nation made their debut at New York’s Blue Note jazz club with two performances, the second of which features special guest Cimafunk, a Cuban vocalist who joined the group for a cover of James Brown’s classic “Sex Machine.” Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the evening.
