The Miami Heat and Pearl Jam have already cemented their bromance with a pair of videos challenging and accepting the invite to a game of hoops at the American Airlines Arena while the group is in town this weekend to kick off their North American tour. 

Enter Shane Battier, who is currently retired from the NBA but made his mark with stints in Miami as well as Houston, Memphis and elsewhere. Battier runs a cool event for charity called Battioke, hosted every year now in Miami. The concept is pretty self-explanatory, and now the former NBA player is launching a special, one-time only rendition of Battioke set to the tune of Pearl Jam’s “Even Flow.”
