Aaron Neville Enlists Eric Krasno, Jon Batiste for ‘Colbert’ Performance

Rob Slater on August 4, 2016

Aaron Neville stopped by Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform “Be Your Man,” the lead single from his new record Apache.

For the performance, Neville called on guitarist Eric Kranso, who produced and co-wrote much of the album, as well as Colbert’s official house bandleader Jon Batiste, who brought along members of Stay Human to aid in the soulful rendition. Tonight, Neville will celebrate his 75th birthday at the Brooklyn Bowl with Krasno as well as special guests Dr. John, Dumpstaphunk and other close friends.
