35 years ago today, The Grateful Dead played their third and final show at the Gizah Sound and Light Theater in Giza, Egypt. Thirty years later, many of the tracks from that run were released on CD and DVD as Rocking The Cradle: Egypt 1978. The film version, which includes a rare performance of Hamza El Din’s “Ollin Arageed” with the Sudanese composer himself, can be viewed in its entirety below.
